About Us

Founded in 2024, Halo Vision is a faith-based charitable organization dedicated to providing quality eye care to underserved communities. Our journey began when four compassionate visionaries—Kenneth Gitonga, Dr. Claire Hellen Smithson, Stephen Gitonga, and Mathew Mutiiria—recognized a critical gap: the poorest in society struggled to access basic eye health services.

Moved by the love of Christ and the belief that all people deserve dignity and care, they envisioned a way to bring hope through restored sight. With the support of generous donors, Halo Vision was born—starting small but dreaming big.

Our Mission

We exist to eliminate preventable blindness and improve eye health among vulnerable populations by:
✔ Providing free eye screenings and treatment through medical camps.
✔ Distributing prescription eyeglasses to those in need.
✔ Educating communities on eye care and disease prevention.
✔ Facilitating referrals for advanced eye conditions to partner hospitals.
